Hatrick Bruce Ltd was founded in 1975 by Euan Ferguson, whose principal aim was to establish a building and civil engineering servicing the local business community.
In 1980, the company settled at their current head office location in Milnathort at the site of the town station yard and livestock market giving the company room to grow and accommodating Hatrick Bruce's future expansion.
Initially Hatrick Bruce Ltd was commissioned to carry out building work packages for major Scottish house builders. Subsequently, the company branched out into construction and the agricultural and food industry sectors, with the civil engineering arm experiencing vibrant growth in the utilities sector following the petrochemical boom in Scotland.
To ensure a seamless service delivery to clients, an in-house Electrical and Mechanical Services capability was identified and this service has now been successfully operating within the company delivering a co-ordinated and standalone service.
As a company Hatrick Bruce Ltd prided itself on training our staff and maintaining career and apprenticeship schemes and our involvement in a wide and varied range of Building, Civil and Services Engineering projects requires our workforce to be adaptable and fully conversant in many areas of construction and consequently our engineers and tradesmen are truly "multi-discipline".
Today, now operating within the Purvis Group of companies, our skilled teams are active throughout Scotland carrying out all-trades construction projects for clients from large multi-nationals to private clients on refurbishments, new builds, facilities management, national framework healthcare, local authorities, utilities, oil and petrochemical and defence projects.
